Missy Valdez

Valdez began her career in the entertainment industry at an independent production company, Topline Urban Films, where she worked directly with the Executive Producers who specialized in Urban Films and Commercials. 

From the moment she arrived, she became an integral employee working on two of their top films: SHORT FUSE and VIRGINIA. On SHORT FUSE, she worked on post-production while for VIRGINIA, she was an all-hands-on-deck employee, working with key heads from all departments in many capacities, working with the Production, Art, and Camera Departments and Above The Line personnel.  This hands-on experience enriched her understanding of all the elements of production and has made her a uniquely perceptive producer that can identify problems in all departments before they happen.

Along with her feature films, Valdez has entered the TV arena by developing scripted & unscripted shows. 

Valdez is full steam ahead with her creative endeavors, with an overall focus to create multi-platform, multi-media properties for a worldwide audience by always focusing on not just the stories people want - but what they need.
